Falafel Salam Branding / Design / Photography / Web Development

Falafel Salam is a restaurant serving Middle Eastern cuisine. They started out in 2009 in a little booth at Seattle's famous Fremont Sunday Market. They quickly expanded into the food-truck industry. In June of 2017, they opened a restaurant in West Seattle.

I began working with FS (Falafel Salam) as the marketing and branding consultant in July of 2015. I helped develop their brand and business values. Then, I translated them into words, graphics, and images in a consistant and compelling way. I desgined and built their website, menus, signage, and many of their marketing campaigns, including launching their instagram account.

I also created all of their photography work, including multiple food photography shoots, portraits, and interior design shots.

Live Well Vegas Design / Web Development

Live Well Vegas is a real estate blog and online magizine. It features homes in Las Vegas, celebrity real estate and news, and much more Las Vegas lifestyle coverage.

I was initially hired to fix a hacked Word Press website that needed to be secured and fixed. After fixing the site securing the database and notifiying search engines that the site was now secured I recommended that we rebuild the site. I used a Word Press theme and customized it using JQuery, CSS and vanilla Javascript.

RestaurantUR Web Development / Photography / Desgin

RestaurantUR is a data driven web application I am building to help restaurant owners and managers increase sales, reduce food and labor costs, and increase their businesses efficiency.

I built the first and current version of the app using Express JS, Handlebars Js and Material CSS. The plan is to refactor the code to use React Js in the near future, and to create a custom sass framework. Next, I will add in D3 for data visualization.

To try out the app go to the current RestaurantUR prototype.

Weather App Web Development

The weather app was a project I did while studying at the Seattle University Web Development program. It was my first attempt to build a web app using a modern front-end framework. To build the app I used Angular 1 and Bootstrap.

Homeless Resource Finder Web Development / Design

This project was the final project I did at the Seattle University Web Development program. I built the web app to enable organizations and homeless people to find resources such as food, water, and shelter. I came up with the concept while living in Los Angeles helping a friend with his movment to build tiny houses for the homeless.

I built the app using Angular 1, gulp, The google Maps API, The Google places API, Googles FireBase (both for authentication and to store data), Javascript, and Sass.
